Herbert was meticulously planning his weekend. "This Saturday," he declared to Margot, his voice brimming with enthusiasm, "we are going on a family picnic!"[tooltip]Herbert stava pianificando meticolosamente il suo fine settimana. At the pub, Laura was chatting with her companion , Daisy. They had just finished their volunteer shift at the local library and were looking to unwind.[tooltip]Al pub, Laura stava chiacchierando con la sua compagna, Daisy. Herbert, oblivious to their conversation, was already elaborately describing his near-disaster picnic to the bartender, who listened with a mixture of amusement and disbelief.
