Herbert sighed, staring at the overflowing toolbox. "Margot, I can't find the right plug for this lamp!" he groaned.[tooltip]Herbert sospirò, fissando la cassetta degli attrezzi traboccante. "Margot, non riesco a trovare la giusta spina per questa lampada!" gemette.[/tooltip]
Margot, without looking up from her gardening, responded, "Did you check the drawer in the kitchen? You know, the one where you toss everything?"[tooltip]Margot, senza alzare lo sguardo dal suo giardinaggio, rispose: "Hai controllato il cassetto in cucina? Sai, quello dove getti tutto?"[/tooltip]
Herbert shuffled off, muttering, "I thought I put it somewhere safe... like the toolbox."[tooltip]Herbert si allontanò trascinando i piedi, borbottando: "Pensavo di averlo messo da qualche parte al sicuro... come nella cassetta degli attrezzi."[/tooltip]

Herbert snatched the plug. "That's it! You're a lifesaver, son! I owe you one... unless a cop asks you where you found it. Then, you know nothing."[tooltip]Herbert afferrò la spina. "È lei! Sei un salvavita, figliolo! Te ne devo una... a meno che un poliziotto ti chieda dove l'hai trovata. Allora, non sai niente."[/tooltip]
Brian raised an eyebrow. "A cop? For a plug?"[tooltip]Brian alzò un sopracciglio. "Un poliziotto? Per una spina?"[/tooltip]
Herbert waved his hand dismissively. "Never mind. Just... sign that pledge for me too, would you? Before your mother sees it."[tooltip]Herbert agitò la mano con aria di sufficienza. "Non importa. Solo... firma anche tu quell'impegno per me, vuoi? Prima che lo veda tua madre."[/tooltip]
Later that week, Herbert was required to attend a mandatory safety consultation at Oakhaven Industries. He grumbled the whole way there, wishing he was home, relaxing with his newly-repaired lamp.[tooltip]Più tardi quella settimana, Herbert fu obbligato a partecipare a una consulenza di sicurezza obbligatoria presso Oakhaven Industries. Brontolò per tutto il tragitto, desiderando di essere a casa, rilassandosi con la sua lampada appena riparata.[/tooltip]
