Herbert sighed, staring at the stack of paperwork on the kitchen table. Margot walked in, sipping her coffee.[tooltip]Herbert sospirò, fissando la pila di documenti sul tavolo della cucina. Margot entrò, sorseggiando il suo caffè.[/tooltip]
"What's wrong, dear?" she asked.[tooltip]"Cosa c'è che non va, caro?" chiese lei.[/tooltip]
"Oakhaven Industries wants me to undertake a new safety review," Herbert grumbled. "More rules, more forms. It's so emotional draining."[tooltip]"La Oakhaven Industries vuole che io intraprenda una nuova revisione della sicurezza," brontolò Herbert. "Più regole, più moduli. È così emotivamente drenante."[/tooltip]
Margot chuckled. "Well, safety is important, Herbert. Think of it as a way to enhance the well-being of your coworkers."[tooltip]Margot ridacchiò. "Beh, la sicurezza è importante, Herbert. Pensalo come un modo per migliorare il benessere dei tuoi colleghi."[/tooltip]
"I suppose," Herbert said, unconvinced. "But all this paperwork? it attacks my core being. I'd rather be watching TV."[tooltip]"Suppongo," disse Herbert, non convinto. "Ma tutta questa scartoffia... attacca il mio nucleo interiore. Preferirei guardare la TV."[/tooltip]
Margot raised an eyebrow. "And what about the new donuts you bought?"[tooltip]Margot alzò un sopracciglio. "E che dire delle nuove ciambelle che hai comprato?"[/tooltip]
Herbert's eyes lit up. "Ah, now you're talking! Maybe if I had a donut...it would help me build a better framework for this review."[tooltip]Gli occhi di Herbert si illuminarono. "Ah, ora parliamo! Forse se avessi una ciambella... mi aiuterebbe a costruire una migliore struttura per questa revisione."[/tooltip]
Margot laughed and kissed Herbert on the forehead. "Donuts first, paperwork later. But not too much later."[tooltip]Margot rise e baciò Herbert sulla fronte. "Prima le ciambelle, poi le scartoffie. Ma non troppo dopo."[/tooltip]
Later, Brian burst through the door.[tooltip]Più tardi, Brian irruppe dalla porta.[/tooltip]
"Mom, I need help!" he exclaimed. "Laura is trying to make me join the environmental club!"[tooltip]"Mamma, ho bisogno di aiuto!" esclamò. "Laura sta cercando di farmi entrare nel club ambientalista!"[/tooltip]
Margot smiled. "Maybe it's a good idea, Brian. It is emotional to see all the problems of the world."[tooltip]Margot sorrise. "Forse è una buona idea, Brian. È emozionante vedere tutti i problemi del mondo."[/tooltip]
Brian gave her a look of dismay.[tooltip]Brian le lanciò uno sguardo di sgomento.[/tooltip]
