Herbert slumped onto the sofa, remote in hand. "Margot, did you see the news about the park?" he asked.

Margot, dusting a shelf, sighed. "Yes, Herbert. The council wants to put in that�?�that modern art sculpture. I don't like it."

"Me neither," Herbert grumbled. "It looks like a giant paperclip. What a threat to our town!"

"It's not exactly a threat, Herbert. It's just�?� ugly," Margot said, rolling her eyes. "The real problem is the park's finance. They say the sculpture will attract tourists, bringing in money."

Brian walked in, skateboard under his arm. "Tourists? Cool! Maybe they'll buy me a new skateboard."

Herbert perked up. "See, Margot? Brian gets it. We could start a whole troop of tour guides! Show them the best paperclip views in town!"

Margot stared at him. "Herbert, that's ridiculous."

"Furthermore," Herbert continued, ignoring her, "we could sell paperclip-shaped souvenirs! We'll be rich!"

Brian grinned. "Paperclip hats!"

Margot just shook her head. "I'm going to The Dog & Duck for a quiet drink."
