Herbert slumped onto the park seat, sighing heavily. "This town facility improvement project is a headache," he mumbled.
Margot, sitting beside him, patted his hand. "Did you read the document carefully, dear?"
He groaned. "I skimmed it. All those numbers... it�?Ts just going to raise our water bill again, isn't it?"

"Probably," Margot admitted. "But Laura said they're planning to fix the leaky pipes at Oakhaven Elementary. Less waste."

Herbert perked up slightly. "Leaky pipes, eh? Maybe I should offer my�?� 'expertise'."
Margot raised an eyebrow. "Herbert, you�?Tre a safety inspector, not a plumber."
"Details, details," he waved his hand dismissively. "Besides, imagine the free donuts!"

Later, at home, Brian was watching a political talk show with Laura. "They're having a debate about school funding," he said, bored. "Sounds boring, too."

Laura rolled her eyes. "It�?Ts important, Brian! It affects our education!" She grabbed the remote and muted the TV. "They never listen to the students anyway."
Brian chuckled. "Maybe we should start our own channel. 'Brian & Laura's Take on Stuff'."
