Herbert Walker was walking in Oakhaven Park when a sudden storm began.[tooltip]Herbert Walker stava camminando in Oakhaven Park quando è iniziata una improvvisa tempesta.[/tooltip]
The wind howled, and rain poured down. He tried to run for cover, but he slipped on some wet leaves.[tooltip]Il vento ululava e la pioggia scendeva a dirotto. Ha cercato di correre al riparo, ma è scivolato su alcune foglie bagnate.[/tooltip]
"Ouch!" Herbert cried. He felt a sharp pain in his ankle. "I think I have an injury."[tooltip]"Ahi!" esclamò Herbert. Sentì un forte dolore alla caviglia. "Penso di avere una ferita."[/tooltip]
He tried to stand, but couldn't put any weight on his leg. He reached into his pocket for his phone, but it wasn't there. "Oh no! Where's my phone?"[tooltip]Ha cercato di alzarsi, ma non riusciva a caricare il peso sulla gamba. Ha infilato la mano nella sua tasca per prendere il telefono, ma non c'era. "Oh no! Dov'è il mio telefono?"[/tooltip]
Suddenly, Brian Walker appeared, riding his skateboard. "Dad? What are you doing on the ground?" Brian asked.[tooltip]All'improvviso, è apparso Brian Walker, che andava sullo skateboard. "Papà? Cosa stai facendo a terra?" Chiese Brian.[/tooltip]
Herbert groaned. "I fell and hurt my ankle. And I lost my phone! Can you help me?"[tooltip]Herbert gemette. "Sono caduto e mi sono fatto male alla caviglia. E ho perso il telefono! Puoi aiutarmi?"[/tooltip]
Brian helped his dad to sit up against a tree. "My phone is missing, I think it fell out when I slipped!" Herbert said.[tooltip]Brian aiutò suo padre a sedersi contro un albero. "Il mio telefono è sparito, penso che sia caduto quando sono scivolato!" Disse Herbert.[/tooltip]
Brian looked around. Near a large oak tree, he saw a small gap in the ground. The phone was inside it.[tooltip]Brian si guardò intorno. Vicino a una grande quercia, vide un piccolo buco nel terreno. Il telefono era dentro.[/tooltip]
"Here it is!" Brian said, pulling out the phone. "And look!" Brian laughed. "Look at this photo of the king!"[tooltip]"Eccolo!" Disse Brian, tirando fuori il telefono. "E guarda!" Brian rise. "Guarda questa foto del re!"[/tooltip]
Herbert took the phone and stared. It was a photo of Molly, their toddler, wearing a Burger King crown she had gotten with her lunch. She was grinning mischievously. He forgot about his pain and chuckled.[tooltip]Herbert prese il telefono e lo fissò. Era una foto di Molly, la loro bambina, che indossava una corona di Burger King che aveva ricevuto con il suo pranzo. Stava sorridendo maliziosamente. Dimenticò il suo dolore e ridacchiò.[/tooltip]
"Well," Herbert said. "That's worth a little ankle injury." Brian helped him up slowly, and they headed home, laughing about the picture of their little queen.[tooltip]"Beh," disse Herbert.
