Herbert sat on the sofa. He checked his weight on the bathroom scale last week. He didn't like the number. "Margot," he called, "the wind is strong today, right?"[tooltip]Herbert si sedette sul divano. Ha controllato il suo peso sulla bilancia del bagno la settimana scorsa. Non gli piaceva il numero. "Margot," chiamò, "il vento è forte oggi, vero?[/tooltip]
Margot looked up from her book. "Yes, Herbert. Why?"[tooltip]Margot alzò lo sguardo dal suo libro. "Sì, Herbert. Perché?"[/tooltip]
"I was thinking about flying a kite! Herbert said. "Good exercise."[tooltip]"Stavo pensando di far volare un aquilone!" disse Herbert. "Buon esercizio."[/tooltip]
Margot smiled. "That's... unexpected. Are you sure you want to, Herbert? You haven't flown a kite in years."[tooltip]Margot sorrise. "Questo è... inaspettato. Sei sicuro di volerlo fare, Herbert? Non fai volare un aquilone da anni."[/tooltip]
"Of course!" Herbert replied. "Brian has a kite. I'll ask him. It's completely safe."[tooltip]"Certo!" rispose Herbert. "Brian ha un aquilone. Glielo chiederò. È completamente sicuro."[/tooltip]
Later, at the park, Brian showed Herbert the kite. Brian said, "Dad, are you sure you can hold it? The wind is really strong."[tooltip]Più tardi, al parco, Brian mostrò a Herbert l'aquilone. Brian disse: "Papà, sei sicuro di poterlo tenere? Il vento è davvero forte."[/tooltip]

Brian started to laughter. Herbert looked up, surprised.[tooltip]Brian cominciò a ridere. Herbert alzò lo sguardo, sorpreso.[/tooltip]
Herbert smiled. "Okay, okay, maybe I'm not as strong as I thought." He handed the string back to Brian. "Your turn."[tooltip]Herbert sorrise. "Okay, okay, forse non sono forte come pensavo." Restituì la corda a Brian. "Il tuo turno."[/tooltip]
Brian laughed again. He started to fly the kite. Herbert watched. He ate a donut.[tooltip]Brian rise di nuovo. Iniziò a far volare l'aquilone. Herbert guardò. Mangio' una ciambella.[/tooltip]
