Benvenuti alla lezione di vocabolario numero 44 per il livello A1! In questa lezione, parte dell'Unità 12 e della macroarea 'Sviluppare le Competenze' del nostro corso A1, impareremo cinque nuove parole utili e comuni in inglese: sell, easy, full, maybe, e design. Prepariamoci a scoprire come usarle correttamente e ad ampliare il nostro vocabolario inglese in modo divertente e pratico!

Herbert sat at the kitchen table. He wanted to sell his old comics.

Margot walked in. "What are you doing, Herbert?"

"I'm going to sell these comics! It will be easy money," Herbert said with a smile.

Margot looked at the comics. "They are full of holes, Herbert. Nobody will buy them."

"Maybe someone will!" Herbert replied. "I will design a nice poster."

Later, Brian came home from school.

"Dad, can I have a snack?" Brian asked.

"Not now, Brian. I'm busy trying to sell these comics," Herbert said, pointing to his poster.

Brian looked at the poster. It showed a badly drawn superhero.

"Maybe you should ask Laura for help with the design," Brian suggested. "She's good at drawing."

Herbert thought for a moment. "That's a good idea! It might make it easy to sell them."

Margot sighed. "Just don't get your hopes too full, Herbert."

The next day, Herbert tried to sell the comics at the park, but it was not easy at all. No one wanted old, damaged comics. His bag was still full at the end of the day. Maybe he needed a better design for the posters. He went to the pub to think.
