Frasi Negative

Per formare una frase negativa con 'to be', aggiungiamo la parola 'not' dopo 'am', 'is' o 'are'.

Ecco alcuni esempi:

• I am not sad. (Io non sono triste.)
• He is not here. (Lui non è qui.)
• They are not students. (Loro non sono studenti.)

Possiamo anche usare le forme contratte:

• I'm not sad.
• He isn't here.

Frasi Interrogative

Per formare una domanda con 'to be', invertiamo l'ordine del soggetto e del verbo. Invece di dire 'You are...', diciamo 'Are you...?'.
